A. Removal of the Access Panel
(Ref. Fig. 404/TASK 57-27-11-991-011)
CAUTION : YOU MUST REMOVE AND INSTALL THE BOLTS IN THE SPECIFIED
_______ SEQUENCE. THIS WILL PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ACCESS PANEL.
NOTE : If you cannot remove the bolts (10) easily, use the FASTENER
____
REMOVAL TOOL (98A53003500000).
(1)
Remove the bolts (10) in the sequence AF thru A. NOTE : The access panels (11) do not all have the same quantity of
____ the bolts (10), but the sequence of removal is the same.
(2)
Carefully remove the access panel (11).
(3)
Identify the access panel (11) with a label.
(4)
For the access panel 540RB(640RB):
-put a protective cover around the magnetic level indicator.
(5)
For the access panel 540HB(640HB):
-put a protective cover around the pressure relief outlet.
(6)
For the access panel 550CB(650CB):
-put a protective cover around the overpressure protector. NOTE : If it is necessary to remove the overpressure protector from
____ the access panel 550CB(650CB), refer to the (Ref. TASK 28-12-41-000-001).
(7) For the access panel 550AB(650AB):
-remove the NACA vent intake (Ref. TASK 28-12-47-000-001).
(a) Put a protective cover around the NACA vent intake.
