A. Preparation for Inspection
(1) Use a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026) to clean these areas:

the spigot pin
-
the bolts and the fittings of the applicable flap track.

B. Inspection
(1) Examine the spigot pin, the bolts and the fittings of the applicable flap track. Make sure that:
-
there is no corrosion
-
there are no cracks
-
there is no damage
-
the bolts are tight
-
the surface protection is in the correct condition.
NOTE : If necessary, refer to the CMM (Ref. CMM 575141) for the
____
correct repair procedure.
(2) Examine the applicable flap-track beam forward attachment-bracket bearing. Make sure that:
-
the sealant is in the correct condition, at the interfaces of the bearing sleeve and the outer ring with the bearing bracket
-
the lockwire that safeties the inner ring and the outer ring is in the correct condition
-there is no damage to the inner and outer rings.
NOTE : If necessary, refer to the AMM (Ref. TASK 57-26-15-000-001)
