A. Safety Precautions
(1)
Put the safety barriers in position.
(2)
Put warning notices in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the landing gears or the landing gear doors.
(3)
Make sure that the GROUND LOCK SLEEVE (460005833) or the GROUNDLOCK SLEEVE (460007280) is installed on each the MLG lockstay actuator (Ref. TASK 32-00-00-481-001).

B. Get Access
(1)
Open the main landing gear doors (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(2)
Put the access platform in position below the sidestay-actuator attachment-bracket, zone 571(671).

WARNING : USE SOLVENTS/CLEANING AGENTS, SEALANTS AND OTHER SPECIAL
_______ MATERIALS ONLY WITH A GOOD SUPPLY OF AIR. OBEY THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS. PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. DO NOT GET THEM IN YOUR MOUTH. DO NOT SMOKE. DO NOT BREATHE THE GAS. THESE MATERIALS ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANT. GET MEDICAL HELP IF YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED.
(1) Use a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004) to clean the inspection area.

(1) Examine the sidestay attachment bracket. Make sure that:

-the surface protection is in the correct condition.
