R  (1) Obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. TASK 28-00-00-910-001). 
R  (2) Put the safety barriers in position. 
R  (3) Install the TOOL-ZERO LOCKING, FLAP SLAT CTL LEVER (98D27803500001) 
R  on the flap/slat control lever. 
R  (4) Put warning notices in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the 
R  flaps or slats. 
R  (5) Put the adjustable access platform in position below the applicable 
R  holes in the wing bottom skin, zone 540/640.

R  Subtask 57-41-00-110-063 
R  A. Preparation for Inspection 
R  (1) Use a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), made moist with CLEANING 
R  AGENTS (Material No. 11-026) to clean 
R  - the wing bottom skin around the fuel tank water drain holes 
R  - the magnetic level indicators and the hole edges. 
R  Subtask 57-41-00-210-067 
R  B. Inspection 
R  (Ref. Fig. 607/TASK 57-41-00-991-024) 
R  (1) Examine the fuel tank water drain hole in the wing bottom skin 
R  between RIBS 22-23. 
R  Make sure that: 
R  - there is no damage 
R  - the edges are not corroded 
R  - the surface finish of the edges is in good condition 
R  - there are no signs of fuel leakages. 
R  NOTE : If necessary, refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 572100) for the____ 
R  correct repair procedure. 
R  (2) Examine the magnetic level indicator between rib 15 and 16. 
R  (Ref. Fig. 608/TASK 57-41-00-991-020) 
R  Make sure that: 
R  - the hole edges are not damaged 
R  - the sight collar is in good condition 
R  - the surface finish of the hole edges is in the correct condition
