Put the safety barriers in position.
(2)
Install the TOOL-ZERO LOCKING, FLAP SLAT CTL LEVER (98D27803500001) on the flap/slat control lever.
(3)
Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the slats.

A. Get Access
(1)
Put the access platform in position below the applicable NACA duct panel 521BB(621BB).
(2)
Remove the pressure-relief panels 521AB(621AB) and 521CB(621CB) adjacent to the NACA duct panel (1) (Ref. TASK 57-41-37-000-004).

B. Removal of the NACA Duct Panel 521BB(621BB) NOTE : Some of the screws that hold the NACA duct panel (1) in position
____ are longer than the others. Make a record of the position of each screw as it is removed.

Hold the panel (1). Remove the three screws (2) and the four screws (3).

Carefully remove the panel (1).
(3)
Remove the packer (4).
