A. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the safety barriers are in position.
(2) Make sure the warning notices are in position in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the engine 1 (2).
(3) Make sure the warning notice is in position on the hydraulic ground connector to tell persons not to connect it.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
R R (1) Make sure the access platform is in position below the applicable engine pylon, zone 470 (480).
(2) Make sure the applicable fixed pylon fairing has been removed (Ref. TASK 54-54-00-000-001).
R R (3) Make sure the applicable access panels are removed:
R R R R (a) For the left wing, remove: - 573CB (Ref. TASK 57-51-37-000-002) - 573DB.
R (b) For the right wing, remove:
R - 673CB (Ref. TASK 57-51-37-000-002)
R - 673DB.

A. Preparation of a Replacement Component
(1) Use the bracket assembly (4) that you removed as a template to drill
6.35 mm (0.25 in.) holes in the new bracket assembly. Discard the used bracket assembly (4).
NOTE : The new bracket assembly (4) has 4.76 mm (0.20 in.) pilot

holes.
