Put the access platform below the applicable wing trailing edge at flap tracks 2, 3 and 4, zones 531(631), 532(632) and 533(633).
(2)
Remove the applicable flap track access panels (Ref. TASK 57-55-11-000-001):
(a)
For flap track 2:
-
for the left wing, remove 531AB, 531BB, 531CB
-
for the right wing, remove 631AB, 631BB, 631CB.
(b)
For flap track 3:
-
for the left wing, remove 532AB, 532BB, 532CB
-
for the right wing, remove 632AB, 632BB, 632CB.
(c)
For flap track 4:
-
for the left wing, remove 533AB, 533BB, 533CB
-
for the right wing, remove 633AB, 633BB, 633CB.

D. Get Access
(1)

For flap track 2:

for the left wing, remove 531CB, 531EB

for the right wing, remove 631CB, 631EB.

For flap track 3:

for the left wing, remove 532CB, 532EB
-
for the right wing, remove 632CB, 632EB.
(c)
For flap track 4:
-
for the left wing, remove 533CB, 533EB
-
for the right wing, remove 633CB, 633EB.

DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE RACEWAYS.

DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE INSTALLATIONS.
-MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

A. Preparation for Inspection
(1) Use a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026) to clean the applicable flap track beam.

B. Inspection
(1) Examine the flange radii of the applicable flap track beam. Make sure that:
-
there is no corrosion
-
there are no cracks or grooves
-the surface protection is in the correct condition
-
there is no wear
-
there is no damage
-
there are no loose rivets or fasteners.
NOTE : : If necessary, refer to the ASRM (Ref. ARSM 572600) for the
____
correct repair procedure.
(2)
Remove the LOCKING TOOL - FLAP/SLAT CONTROL LEVER from the flap/slat control lever.
(3)
Retract the flaps (Ref. TASK 27-50-00-866-009) to get access to the flap track beam under the flap carriage.
