(1)
Fully extend the flaps (Ref. TASK 27-50-00-866-008).
(2)
Make sure that the LOCKING TOOL - FLAP/SLAT CONTROL LEVER is on the flap/slat control lever.

Put the access platform below the applicable wing trailing edge at flap tracks 2, 3 and 4, zones 531(631), 532(632) and 533(633).
(2)
Remove the applicable flap track fairing access panels (Ref. TASK 57-55-11-000-001):
(a)
For the flap track 2:
-
for the left wing, remove 531AB, 531BB, 531CB
-
for the right wing, remove 631AB, 631BB, 631CB.
(b)
For the flap track 3:
-
for the left wing, remove 532AB, 532BB, 532CB
-
for the right wing, remove 632AB, 632BB, 632CB.
(c)
For the flap track 4:
-
for the left wing, remove 533AB, 533BB, 533CB
-
for the right wing, remove 633AB, 633BB, 633CB.

D. Get Access

R (a) For the flap track 2: - for the left wing, remove 531CB, 531EB - for the right wing, remove 631CB, 631EB.
R (b) For the flap track 3: - for the left wing, remove 532CB, 532EB - for the right wing, remove 632CB, 632EB.
R (c) For the flap track 4: - for the left wing, remove 533CB, 533EB - for the right wing, remove 633CB, 633EB.

CAUTION : BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO MAINTENANCE TASKS ON THE WING TRAILING_______ EDGE: - DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE RACEWAYS. - DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE INSTALLATIONS. - MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

A. Preparation for Inspection
(1) Use a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026) to clean the applicable flap track beam.
