(1) Clean the last chance oil strainer (Ref 79-21-16/701).
NOTE: The metal particles and other contamination from the last
____ chance oil strainer will stay in the solvent used to clean it. Make sure the container used to keep the solvent that goes through the last chance oil strainer is clean. Also, make sure the last chance oil strainer is made dry before you install it.

Put the solvent used to clean the last chance oil strainer thru a paper paint strainer, or the equivalent, to remove the contamination.

If there is contamination, do the inspection for the oil system contamination (Ref 72-00-00/601).

Install the last chance oil strainer (Ref 79-21-16/401).

1. General

A. This procedure gives the instructions necessary to clean the last chance oil strainers.
B. You can get access to the last chance oil strainers through the left thrust reverser.
