 (1)  Remove all protection caps.
 S 434-075-N00
 CAUTION: MAKE SURE TO USE THE OIL TANK WITH THE CORRECT PART NUMBER.
_______ THE PART NUMBER HAS AN EFFECT ON THE INTERCHANGEABLE OIL TANKS. IF YOU DO NOT USE THE CORRECT OIL TANK, AN OVERSERVICING CONDITION CAN OCCUR AND CAUSE A HIGH OIL TEMPERATURE.
 (2)  If it is necessary to install the detail parts on the new oil
 tank (15), do the steps that follow:

 (a)  ENGINES PRE-PW-SB 79-65; Install the sight gage (5) with the steps that follow:
 NOTE: Oil tanks with the cutaway end do not have a sight gage.
____
 1) Lubricate the packing (4) with engine oil. 2) Install the packing (4) in the groove of the sight
 gage (5). 3) Install the gasket (3) to the sight gage (5). 4) Align the bolt holes of the oil tank boss and the sight
 gage (5). 5) Lubricate the threads of the bolts (6) with engine oil. 6) Install the two bolts (6) to attach the sight gage. 7) Tighten the bolts (6) to 32-36 pound-inches (3.6-4.1
 newton-meters). 8) Install the lockwire or safety cable and safety cable ferrule to the bolts (6).
 (b)  Install the filler neck sump and valve (8) with the steps that follow: 1) Lubricate the packing (7) with engine oil. 2) Install the packing (7) into the groove in the filler neck
 sump and valve (8).
 3)  Put the scupper drain (12) and the filler neck sump and valve (8) on the oil tank boss. a) Make sure to align the bolt holes.
 4)  Put the lanyard of the oil tank cap (10) below the head of
 the bolt (11) for the filler neck valve. 5) Lubricate the threads of the bolts (11) with engine oil. 6) Install the bolts (11). 7) Tighten the bolts (11) to 32-36 pound-inches (3.6-4.1
 newton-meters).
