Lubricate the threads for the last chance oil strainer (2) with engine oil.

 (b)  
Install the last chance oil strainer (2) to the housing. 1) Tighten the last chance oil strainer (2) with your hand. 2) While you hold the housing with a wrench, tighten the last


 chance oil strainer (2) to 275-300 pound-inches (31.071-33.895 newton-meters). 3) Install the lockwire or safety cable and safety cable ferrule to the last chance oil strainer (2).
 G. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition.

Procedure

 (1)  
Do the steps that follow to install the oil pressure strainer for the No. 3 bearing.

 (a)  
Remove the protection covers.

 (b)  
Install the strainer (8) to the ferrul end of the No. 3 bearing oil pressure tube (9).

 (c)  
Lubricate the packing (7) with engine oil.
