OIL QUANTITY INDICATING SYSTEM - ADJUSTMENT/TEST

 1.  General
_______
 A.  This procedure gives the instructions to do an operational or system test of the indicating system for the engine oil quantity.
 B.  You can do the operational test when there is an electrical power on the airplane. The operational test is used to make sure the indicating system operates and that quantity indications with the oil tank full are correct. The operational test is used to make sure the system operates correctly after the replacement of the oil quantity transmitter.
 C.  When you make an analysis of the system performance at the minimum oil level, if you are not sure at this time that the precision is correct, you must drain the oil tank. It is easier to drain the oil tank when you do the system test procedure.
