(3) S 034-004-N00Disconnect the electrical connectors (1, 2) from the solenoid (3). (a) Install the protection caps.
(4) S 494-005-N00Install the container to catch the remaining oil.
(5) S 034-006-N00Disconnect the tube nut (6) which attaches the oil return tube (5) to the bypass valve. (a) Remove the retainer (8).

Remove the two bolts (10) which attach the flange (4) on the other end of the oil return tube (5) to the main oil filter.
