Remove the magnetic chip detector probe and housing assembly from the main gearbox to fully drain the oil (AMM 79-21-10/401).

(9) ENGINES WITHOUT PW SB 79-75; do the steps that follow:
(a)
Remove the bolts (12) which attach the bracket (13) and the flange of the supply tube (14) for the main oil filter to the aft top port on the lubrication and scavenge oil pump.
(b)
Loosen the bolts which attach the clamp (14) to make it easier to do the removal.

(10) ENGINES WITH PW SB 79-75; Do the steps that follow (Fig. 402):
(a)
Remove bolts (2) which attach the tube (1) to top of the dampener (5) or adapter (15).
(b)
Remove bolt (14) which attaches the tube (1) to diffuser case bracket (13) at approximately the 7 o'clock position.
(c)
Remove bolts (7), nuts (8) and clamp (11) which attach the tube (1) to the bracket (12) on rear face of gearbox.
(d)
Remove bolts (7), nuts (8) and clamp (10) which attach the tube (1) to the bracket (9) at forward face of gearbox.
