_______ MINUTES AFTER THE ENGINE SHUTDOWN TO LET THE PRESSURE IN THE OIL TANK BLEED OFF. A FAST FLOW OF HOT OIL CAN OCCUR AND CAUSE INJURY TO YOU.
DO NOT KEEP THE OIL ON YOUR SKIN FOR A LONG TIME. IF YOU DO NOT CLEAN THE OIL OFF, THE OIL CAN CAUSE INJURY.
(2) Remove the bolts (4) which attach the last chance oil strainer (3).

(1) Open the left fan cowl panel (AMM 71-11-04/201).

Remove the Last Chance Oil Strainer

Put the container below the last chance oil strainer (13) to collect the remaining oil.

Remove the hose clamps (9) which attach the heat shield (11) at the top connection of the oil pressure tube (6) for the No. 4 bearing.
(3)
Remove the heat shield (11) from the engine.
