Attach the tube (1) to the dampener (5) or adapter (15) with bolts (2), threads lubricated with engine oil, handtight only.
(c)
Install the loop clamp bracket (6/16) to the dampener (5) or
adapter (15).
1) Attach loop clamp bracket (6/16) to dampener (5) or
adapter (15) with bolts (7) and nuts (8).
2) Tighten the bolts (7) which attach the loop clamp bracket (6/16) to the dampener (5) or adapter (15) to 32-36 pound-inches (3.6-4.1 newton-meters).
(d)
Install bolts (7), threads lubricated with engine oil, nuts (8) and clamp (10) which attaches the tube (1) to bracket (9) at forward face of gearbox, handtight only.
(e)
Install bolts (7), threads lubricated with engine oil, nuts (8) and clamp (11) which attaches the tube (1) to bracket (12) at rear face of gearbox, handtight only.
(f)
Install bolts (14), threads lubricated with engine oil, on the tube (1) which attaches to the diffuser case bracket (13).
(g)
Tighten the bolts (7) which attach the clamps (10,11) to
gearbox brackets (9,12) to 32-36 pound-inches (3.6-4.1
newton-meters).
(h)
Tighten the bolts (4) which attach the dampener (5) or
adapter (15) to the top of the main oil pump to 62-72
pound-inches (7.0-8.1 newton-meters).
(i)
Tighten the bolts (2) which attach the tube (1) to the
dampener (5) or adapter (15) to 62-72 pound-inches (7.0-8.1
newton-meters).
(j)
Tighten the bolts (14) which attach the tube (1) to the
diffuser case bracket (13) to 65-75 pound-inches (7.3-8.5
newton-meters).

Start at the aft right of the lubrication and scavenge oil pump (7) and attach the four scavenge tubes with the bolts (2) with the steps that follow: 1) Scavenge oil tube (1) for the No. 3 bearing 2) Scavenge oil tube (11) for the No. 4 bearing 3) Scavenge oil tube (3) for the angle gearbox 4) Scavenge oil tube (4) for the No. 1, 1.5, and 2 bearing.
(c)
Tighten the bolts (2) to 62-72 pound-inches
(7.0-8.1 newton-meters).

Remove the protection caps from the oil temperature probe.
