(f)
Lubricate the threads of the bolts (36) with engine oil.

 (g)
Attach the forward mount hinge (42) with the bolts (36).


 1)  Tighten the bolts (36) to 180-200 pound-inches (20.3-22.5 newton-meters).

 (6)  
Attach the fuel and oil tubes to the fuel/oil cooler (1) and the bypass valve (25) with the steps that follow:

 (a)  
Lubricate the threads of the tube nuts for the fuel inlet tubes (7, 8) with Hi-T650 antigalling compound.

 (b)  
Connect the tube nuts for the fuel inlet tube (7, 8) to the adapters on the fuel/oil cooler (1). 1) Tighten the tube nuts to 150-160 pound-inches


 (16.9-18.1 newton-meters). 2) Loosen the tube nuts. 3) Tighten the tube nuts again to 150-160 pound-inches
 (16.9-18.1 newton-meters).
 (c)  Install the lockwire or safety cable and safety cable ferrule to the tube nuts (Fig. 403).
 NOTE: Install the lockwire or safety cable to the tube nut for
____ the fuel inlet tube (8) to the forward outboard wire hole in the bypass valve gasket.
 (d)  
Lubricate the threads of the tube nut for the fuel outlet tube (4) with Hi-T650 antigalling compound.

 (e)  
Connect the tube nut for the fuel outlet tube (4) to the adapter on the fuel/oil cooler (1). 1) Tighten the tube nut to 150-160 pound-inches


 (16.9-18.1 newton-meters) (Fig. 403). 2) Loosen the tube nuts. 3) Tighten the tube nuts again to 150-160 pound-inches
 (16.9-18.1 newton-meters).
 (f)  
Lubricate the threads of the tube nut for the oil return tube (1) with Hi-T650 antigalling compound.

 (g)  
Connect the tube nut for the oil return tube (1) to the adapter on the fuel/oil cooler (1) (Fig. 402). 1) Tighten the tube nut to 65-75 pound-inches


 (7.3-7.9 newton-meters). 2) Loosen the tube nut. 3) Tighten the tube nut again to 65-75 pound-inches
 (7.3-7.9 newton-meters).

4)  Install the lockwire or safety cable and safety cable ferrule to the tube nut.
 (h)
Lubricate the threads of the tube nut for the oil inlet tube

 (2) with the Hi-T650 antigalling compound.

 (i)  
Connect the tube nut for the oil inlet tube (2) to the adapter on the fuel/oil cooler (Fig. 402). 1) Tighten the tube nut to 200-220 pound-inches


 (22.597-24.857 newton-meters). 2) Loosen the tube nut. 3) Tighten the tube nut again to 200-220 pound-inches
 (22.597-24.857 newton-meters). 4) Install the lockwire or safety cable and safety cable ferrule to the tube nut.
 (j)  
Lubricate the threads of the tube nut on the inlet tube (3) for the IDG oil with the Hi-T650 antigalling compound.

 (k)  
Connect the inlet tube (3) to the adapter on the fuel/oil cooler (1) (Fig. 402). 1) Tighten the tube nut to 140-160 pound-inches


 (15.8-18.0 newton-meters). 2) Loosen the tube nut. 3) Tighten the tube nut again to 140-160 pound-inches
 (15.8-18.0 newton-meters). 4) Install the lockwire or safety cable and safety cable ferrule to the tube nut.
 (l)  
Lubricate the threads of the tube nut on the outlet tube (6) for the IDG oil with the Hi-T650 antigalling compound.

 (m)  
Connect the tube nut for the outlet tube (6) to the adapter on the fuel/oil cooler (1) (Fig. 404). 1) Tighten the tube nut to 855-945 pound-inches


 (96.6-106.8 newton-meters). 2) Loosen the tube nut. 3) Tighten the tube nut again to 855-945 pound-inches
 (96.6-106.8 newton meters). 4) Install the lockwire or safety cable and safety cable ferrule to the tube nut.
 (n)  Attach the outlet tube (6) to the bracket with the screw (4), washer (2), nut (5), and clamp (3) (Fig. 404).

 (7)  Install the drain tubes with the steps that follow:
 (a)  Remove the protection caps.
