These conditions are necessary for this task:

 (a)  
Electric power on (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 (b)  
Central Maintenance Computer System (CMCS), serviceable (AMM 45-10-00/201).

Prepare to Do a Test of the Indicating System fro the Low Oil Pressure


 S 865-004-N00
 (1)  
Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 (2)  
Make sure the circuit breakers that follow are closed:

 (a)  
P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
 1) 7F9 EIU L
 2) 7F10 EIU C
 3) 7F15 EIU R

 (3)  Open the left fan cowl panel (AMM 71-11-04/201).
 S 045-027-N00
 WARNING: DO THE THRUST REVERSER DEACTIVATION PROCEDURE TO PREVENT THE
_______
 OPERATION OF THE THRUST REVERSER. THE ACCIDENTAL OPERATION OF
 THE THRUST REVERSER CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO
 EQUIPMENT.

 (4)  
Do this procedure: Thrust Reverser Deactivation for Ground
 Maintenance (AMM 78-31-00/201).

 (5)  
Open the left core cowl panel (AMM 71-11-06/201).

 WARNING: OBEY THE INSTRUCTIONS IN AMM 78-31-00/201 WHEN YOU OPEN THE

 THRUST REVERSERS. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THE INSTRUCTIONS,
 INJURIES TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.

 (6)  
Open the left thrust reverser (AMM 78-31-00/201).

Do the Test for the Indicating System for the Low Oil Pressure


 S 035-007-N00
 (1)  
Disconnect the oil pressure tube from the warning switch for the low oil pressure.

 (2)  
Connect the line from the air pressure source to the warning switch.

Get access to the CMCS input monitoring (AMM 45-10-00/201).

Set the engine with the steps that follow:

 (a)  
Set the applicable code that follows.
 1) For engine No. 1, "C/26/005/11".
 2) For engine No. 2, "C/26/006/00".
 3) For engine No. 3, "C/26/010/10".
 4) For engine No. 4, "C/26/007/00".


 (b)  
Make sure the applicable number is "1" for the applicable
 engine with the step that follows:
 1) For engine No. 1, the first number from the right on the

 

 

 first line (bit 17). 2) For engine No. 2, the ninth number from the right on the first line (bit 25). 3) For engine No. 3, the fifth number from the right on the first line (bit 21). 4) For engine No. 4, the fourth number from the left on the second line (bit 13).

 (5)  Make sure the warning switch operates correctly.
 (a)  
Supply a pressure of 82 |1.0 psi (570 |7 kPa) to the warning switch. 1) Make sure the applicable number is "0" for the applicable

 engine:
 a) For engine No. 1, bit 17.
 b) For engine No. 2, bit 25.
 c) For engine No. 3, bit 21.
 d) For engine No. 4, bit 13.


 (b)  
Increase the pressure to 100 |1 psi (690 |7 kPa) maximum.

 (c)  
Make sure the applicable digit is "0" for the applicable engine as follows: 1) For engine No. 1, bit 17. 2) For engine No. 2, bit 25. 3) For engine No. 3, bit 21. 4) For engine No. 4, bit 13.

 (d)  
Decrease the pressure to 66 |1.0 psi (460 |7 kPa).

 1)  Make sure the applicable number is "1" for the applicable engine: a) For engine No. 1, bit 17. b) For engine No. 2, bit 25. c) For engine No. 3, bit 21. d) For engine No. 4, bit 13.

 (e)  
Decrease the pressure to zero at the warning switch.
