 WARNING:_______DO THE THRUST REVERSER DEACTIVATION TASK. THIS TASK PREVENTS THE OPERATION OF THE THRUST REVERSER. ACCIDENTAL OPERATION OF THE REVERSER CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (1)  
Do this task: "Thrust Reverser Deactivation for Ground Maintenance" (AMM 78-31-00/201).

 (2)  
Open the Oil Fill Access.

 WARNING:_______DO NOT LET HOT OIL TOUCH YOU. LET 5 MINUTES GO BY AFTER AN ENGINE SHUTDOWN TO LET THE OIL SYSTEM PRESSURE GO TO ZERO. IF YOU OPEN THE OIL SYSTEM WHEN IT HAS PRESSURE, A SPRAY OF HOT OIL CAN BURN YOU.
 WARNING:_______DO NOT TOUCH THE OIL SYSTEM PARTS IF THE ENGINE IS HOT. THESE PARTS STAY HOTTER THAN OTHER ENGINE PARTS AFTER AN ENGINE SHUTDOWN. IF YOU TOUCH AN OIL SYSTEM PART WHEN THE ENGINE IS HOT, IT CAN BURN YOU.
 WARNING:_______DO NOT LET THE OIL TOUCH YOUR SKIN FOR A LONG TIME. YOU CAN ABSORB THE POISONOUS MATERIALS FROM THE OIL THROUGH YOUR SKIN.
 CAUTION:_______IMMEDIATELY CLEAN ALL OIL THAT FALLS ON THE ENGINE PARTS. THE OIL CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE PAINT AND SOME RUBBER PARTS.
 (3)  Open the cap assembly.
 (a)  
Lift the handle on the cap assembly.

 (b)  
Turn the handle 45 degrees counterclockwise to the OPEN position.

 (c)  
Remove the cap assembly from the filler neck.

 (d)  
Install a protection cap.

 (e)  
Examine the packing for cuts, nicks, or tears.

 (f)  
Remove and Discard the packing (6) if you find it damaged.

 (4)  Examine the cap assembly for leaks around the handle.
 (a)  If you see that there were leaks around the handle, do the "Cap Assembly Repair" task (Ref par. 3.).

 3.  Cap Assembly Repair (Fig. 202)___________________
 A. General
 (1)
This task replaces the packing on the lock of the cap assembly.

 (2)
You must disassemble the cap assembly to replace the packing.
