 align with the bolts with the captive washers (4).

 Lubricate the threads of the bolts (2) with engine oil.

 Attach the forward hinge bracket (19) with the bolts (2) and washers (28) to the intermediate case.

 Attach the higher and lower mounting brackets (29, 21) to the support brackets for the intermediate case with the bolts (16).

Tighten the bolts (16) with your hand.

 Lubricate the threads of the bolt (22) with engine oil.

 Attach the cable conduit to the lower support bracket with the bolt (22).

Tighten the bolt (22) to 36-40 pound-inches
 (4.1-4.5 newton-meters).

1)  Install the outboard bolts (2) with washers (3), in the outboard holes. Lubricate the threads with engine oil. a) Tighten the four inboard bolts (4) by hand. These are
 the bolts that were installed before the four outboard bolts.
 (c)  ENGINES POST-PW-SB 79-60;
 Attach the valve inlet collars (13) to the rear of the
 intermediate case as follows:
 1) Install the four bolt and washer assemblies (2) in the

 outboard bolt holes. Lubricate the threads with engine oil. 2) Tighten the four inboard bolt and washer assemblies (4) by hand.
 NOTE: These are the bolt and washer assemblies that were
____ installed before the four outboard bolt and washer assemblies.

 CAUTION: WHEN YOU USE A TORQUE ADAPTER, YOU MUST ADJUST THE TORQUE
_______ WRENCH VALUE TO GET THE NECESSARY TORQUE (AMM 70-23-00/201). IF THE INCORRECT TORQUE IS APPLIED TO THE BOLT, IT CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE THREADS.
 (17) Tighten the bolts (2, 4) or bolt and washer assemblies to 85-95 pound-inches (9.6-10.7 newton-meters).
 NOTE: Use the PWA 85853 torque adapter to tighten the inner bolts.

 Lubricate the packings (11) with engine oil.
