Clean the oil fill valve with solvent:
(a)
Flush the oil fill valve with acetone.
(b)
Make the oil fill valve dry with a clean cloth to remove all signs of the solvent.

Soak the O-ring in some of the hydraulic fluid for the shock strut.

Install the O-ring on the oil fill valve.

Install the oil fill valve with the pressure cap on the pressure gage assembly.

Tighten the oil fill valve to 22-25 pound-inches
(2.5-2.8 newton-meters).

Put the pressure gage assembly on the shock strut clamps.

Install the six nuts and washers.
(9)
Connect the hydraulic tube to the pressure gage assembly.
(10)
Install a lockwire from the oil fill valve to the tube connection.

(1) If the sensor or target bracket is moved or damaged, then do the task to measure the wing landing gear truck sensor clearance (AMM 32-61-22/201).
