The subsystems and the sensors that are examined by this test are as follows:
(a)
For the primary landing gear system:
1) When the gear are down and all the gear doors are closed, these sensors are examined: S397, S399, S401, S403, S405-S410, and S753.
2) When the gear are down and all the gear doors are open, these sensors are examined: S397, S399, S401, S403, S405, and S753B.
(b) For the alternate landing gear system:
1) When the gear are down and all the gear doors are closed, these sensors are examined: S395, S412-S415, S424-S428, and S753A.
2) When the gear are down and all the gear doors are open, these sensors are examined: S412-S415, S424, and S753A.
(c)
For the thrust reverser and auto restow subsystems: 1) The auto restow sensors: S1604, S1605 2) The lock sensors: S1607, S1608 3) The deploy sensors: S1609, S1610

Prepare for the Test
S 865-021
(1)
Supply electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).
S 865-022
(2)
Make sure the control lever for the landing gear is in the DN position.
S 865-023
(3)
Make sure that all doors for the landing gear are in the same configuration.
NOTE: All the gear doors must be open, or all the gear doors must
____
be closed.
You can look at the EICAS "GEAR" synoptic page to get the condition of the doors.
S 865-024
(4) Do this task if the airplane is not in the ground mode configuration: Put the Air/Ground Relay System Back in the Ground Mode (AMM 32-09-02/201).
S 045-032
WARNING: DO THE DEACTIVATION PROCEDURE TO PREVENT THE OPERATION OF THE
_______ THRUST REVERSER. THE ACCIDENTAL OPERATION OF THE THRUST REVERSER CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(5) Do the deactivation procedure for the thrust reverser (forward thrust position) for ground maintenance (AMM 78-31-00/201).
S 045-034
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LE FLAPS
_______ AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS DURING THE PSEU GROUND TEST. THE LE FLAPS CAN MOVE AUTOMATICALLY DURING THE PSEU GROUND TEST AND CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(6)
Do one of the two steps that follow to prevent the movement of the LE flaps during the PSEU ground test:
(a)
Make sure the flap lever is in the UP position and that all the leading edge flaps are fully retracted (AMM 27-81-00/201).
NOTE: This is the preferred procedure.
