S 214-021
(1)
Examine the shock strut for deterioration (AMM 32-11-01/601).

(2)
Examine the mechanical connections on the shock strut
(AMM 32-11-03/601, AMM 32-11-14/601 and AMM 32-11-20/601).

(3)
Prepare the lubrication insert (10) for installation into the truck pivot bolt (Detail D):
(a)
Do a visual check of the O-rings (12) for deterioration and damage.
(b)
Replace the O-rings if it is necessary.
(c)
Apply a large quantity of grease to the O-rings (12), the lubrication insert (10), and the inner surface of the bolt (13).
(d)
Put the O-rings (12) on the lubrication insert (10).
(e)
If it is necessary, lubricate the lubrication insert again.
(f)
Put the lubrication insert (10) into the bolt (13).
(g)
Align the holes for the lockbolt (11).

(4)
Prepare the lubrication inserts (3) for installation into the brake rod bolts (7) (Detail C):
(a)
Do a visual check of the O-rings (4 and 6) for deterioration and damage.
(b)
Replace the O-rings if it is necessary.
(c)
Apply a large quantity of grease to each lubrication insert (3), the O-rings (4 and 6), and the inner surface of each bolt (7).
