Install the hydraulic lines on the shock strut.

Remove all caps and plugs from the hydraulic lines and the fittings.
(b)
Connect all disconnected connections.

Attach the wire harness and the junction box to the shock strut.
(a)
Do a visual check of the locknuts and the safety wires.
(b)
Tighten the locknuts which are loose.
(c)
Replace all safety wires which have damage.

WING LANDING GEAR SHOCK STRUT - REPAIRS

1. General_______
A. This procedure has three tasks:
(1)
The replacement of the inner cylinder seals with the spare seals (lift the airplane with the jacks or lower the gear on a pit)
(2)
The replacement of the inner cylinder seals and the spare seals
(3)
The replacement of the inner cylinder seals with the spare seals. (without the use of the airplane jack)
B.
For more seal replacements, disconnect the truck beam from the inner cylinder yoke and move the seals through the yoke. You put MIL-H-5606 fluid on the edge of the replacement seals which have four marks.

2. Inner Cylinder Seals Replacement with Spare Seals (Fig. 802)____________________________________________________________
A. General
(1)
This task lifts the airplane with jacks or lowers the airplane over a pit to replace the seals.
(2)
You can replace the lower cylinder seals for the seal leaks in the shock strut. You can find the spare seals in the grooves of the lower bearing. You can use the spare seals for the first and second seal replacement. The removal of the inner cylinder or other major components for these replacements is not necessary.
B.
