Supply electrical equipment cooling:
(a)
If the airplane will be in the flight mode for less than 5 minutes, make sure the EQUIP COOLING mode selector on the pilots overhead panel, P5, is in the NORM position.
(b)
If the airplane will be in the flight mode for more than 5 minutes, do these steps: 1) If the outside ambient temperature is less than 105 degrees
F (41 degrees C), make sure the EQUIP COOLING mode selector on the overhead panel, P5, is in the NORM position. 2) If the outside ambient temperature is greater than 105 degrees F (41 degrees C), do these steps:
NOTE: When the airplane is put in the air mode, CMC fault
____ messages indicating that the inboard and ground exhaust valves have failed will be displayed. These messages can be ignored.
a) Make sure the EQUIP COOLING mode selector is in the NORM position.

b) Open these circuit breakers on the P414 power distribution panel and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
414L11, EQUIP COOLING GROUND VALVE CONT 414A14, EQUIP CLG INBD VLV CONT
(c) If the outside ambient temperature is greater than 115 degrees F (46 degrees C), operate the air conditioning packs or supply equal ground cooling (AMM 21-00-00/201).

WARNING:_______KEEP PERSONS AWAY FROM THE RAM INLET AND OUTLET DOORS. THESE DOORS MAY MOVE WHEN THE AIRPLANE IS IN THE AIR MODE. IF THE DOORS MOVE, THEY COULD CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(7) Make sure that the areas around the ram inlet and outlet doors are clear when the airplane is in the air mode.
