PROXIMITY SWITCH ELECTRONICS UNIT (PSEU) - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks:
(1)
The removal of the PSEU
(2)
The installation of the PSEU.
B.
To remove the PSEU these steps are necessary:
(1)
Look for PSEU shop faults and make a note of them if it is necessary
(2)
Prepare safety-sensitive systems for the air mode
(3)
Remove the PSEU from the E1-3 shelf.
C.
To install the PSEU these steps are necessary:
(1)
Install the PSEU on the E1-3 shelf
(2)
Do the PSEU operational test.
D.
The Proximity Switch Electronics Unit (PSEU) is on the E1-3 shelf of the main equipment center. The equipment number for the PSEU is M7838.

Supply electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).
(2)
Go to SHOP FAULTS from the main menu of the CMC.

Push the button adjacent to the 32 PSEU SYSTEM display on the shop faults menu.
