 6.  Put the Air/Ground Relay System in the Ground Mode (Airplane is on Jacks)__________________________________________________
 A. General
 (1)  This task uses de-actuators to put the air/ground relay system in the ground mode.
 NOTE: Ten deactuators are required for this task.

 (1)  
A27092-84 - Actuator/Deactuator Set - Proximity Sensors

 (2)  
Deactuator - proximity sensor (optional) Material: 5052, 6061, 7075, or 2024 aluminum or sheet copper Size: 1.5 x 0.75 x 0.05 inches

Put de-actuators on these sensors of the wing, body, and nose landing gear:

S416 Right Wing Gear Tilt (primary)

S614 Right Wing Gear Tilt (alternate)

 (c)  
S418 Right Body Gear Tilt (primary)

 (d)  
S613 Right Body Gear Tilt (alternate)

 (e)  
S800 Nose Gear Squat switch (primary)

 (f)  
S801 Nose Gear Squat (alternate).

If any of the landing gear or tilt sensors are removed, then you will have to connect tilt sensors to the airplane wiring. You will also have to attach actuators to the sensors.

 (a)  
To temporarily install a wing gear sensor, refer to the applicable steps in this procedure: Wing Gear Truck Tilt Sensors - Maintenance Practices (AMM 32-61-22/201).

 (b)  
To temporarily install a body gear sensor, refer to the applicable steps in this procedure: Body Gear Truck Tilt Sensors - Maintenance Practices (AMM 32-61-12/201).

To temporarily install a nose gear sensor, refer to the applicable steps in this procedure: Nose Gear Squat Sensor -Maintenance Practices (AMM 32-61-01/201).

 7. Check of the Air Mode/Ground Mode - Air/Ground Relay System
___________________________________________________________
 A. General
 (1)  
This procedure gives the condition of the primary and alternate air/ground relay system. Use CMC Input Monitoring to find the values for the air/ground bit for the sensing systems. The bit will be a 0 if the system is in the air mode. The bit will be a 1 if the system is in the ground mode.
