If any of the landing gear or tilt sensors are removed, then you will have to connect tilt sensors to the airplane wiring. You will also have to attach actuators to the sensors.

7. Check of the Air Mode/Ground Mode - Air/Ground Relay System

A. General
(1)
This procedure gives the condition of the primary and alternate air/ground relay system. Use CMC Input Monitoring to find the values for the air/ground bit for the sensing systems. The bit will be a 0 if the system is in the air mode. The bit will be a 1 if the system is in the ground mode.
