(1) Remove the cover from the junction box on the upper jury strut.

Disconnect the junction box from the upper jury strut.

Disconnect the primary downlock sensor from the jury strut:
(a)
Remove the two screws.

Disconnect the alternate downlock sensor from the jury strut:

Remove the two screws.

Remove the cotter pin, the nut, the washer, and the conduit support bracket from the spindle bolt.
(6)
Install the thread protector on the spindle bolt.
(7)
Remove the spindle bolt from the airplane.

Use a rope to hold the junction box, the conduits, and the sensors away from the work area.
