(b) Clean all parts and exposed surfaces of the bearing race (MM 20-11-14/701).
NOTE: Do not remove the spherical bearing.

(c) Remove and replace bearing if you find corrosion (MM 32-11-03/401).

Examine the fit of the drag strut components.
(a)
Measure the parts at the locations shown in figure 601.
(b)
Compare the measured dimensions to the wear limits in figure
601.
(c)
If a part is not in tolerance, replace the part if you cannot repair it.
