WARNING: MAKE SURE YOU USE THE CORRECT DOOR LOCK PROCEDURE TO LOCK THE DOORS
_______ OF THE LANDING GEAR. THE USE OF A DOOR ACTUATOR LOCK IS THE PREFERRED METHOD FOR DISABLING THE DOORS OF THE LANDING GEAR. FAILURE TO USE THE CORRECT METHOD TO LOCK THE DOORS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
B. Install the locks on the landing gear doors when it is necessary. You must install locks when persons work in or adjacent to wheel well areas. You must lock open both wing and body gear doors on a side (or both sides if applicable) to prevent injury to persons or damage to equipment.
C. You can use the wing and body gear door handle locks as an alternative to the door actuator locks.
NOTE: The door handle lock does not disable the door operation system.
____ It only stops the door handle from moving. Any movement of the cables attached to the door handle can still cause the door operation system to move the doors.
