IN-AIR CONDITION.

If the sensor or target bracket is moved or damaged, then do the task to measure the wing landing gear truck sensor clearance (AMM 32-61-22/201).

Make sure that you install the ground locks for the landing gear (AMM 09-11-00/201).

CAUTION: MAKE SURE YOU DO THESE STEPS BEFORE YOU OPERATE THE DOORS:
_______ MAKE SURE SHOCK STRUTS (OLEOS) FOR THE BODY GEAR HAVE THE CORRECT MINIMUM DIMENSION. MAKE SURE THE TIRES ARE AT THE CORRECT PRESSURE. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THESE INSTRUCTIONS, THE DOOR CAN HIT AND CATCH ON THE TIRES. IF THE STRUT AND TIRES ARE DEFLATED, THE BODY GEAR DOORS WILL HIT THE GROUND WHEN YOU OPEN THEM.
(3) Make sure the minimum X dimension for the body gear struts (oleos) is as shown on the foil marker.
NOTE: The marker is on the inner surface of the gear strut door,
____ below the handle.

(4) Make sure the tires are at the correct pressure (AMM 12-15-06/301).

(5) Move the ground release handle for the wing and body gear doors to the DOORS OPEN position.
NOTE:____This will open the wing and body gear doors. Handles for main gear doors are on the keel beams near the aft inboard corners of body gear wheel wells. You can get to the handles through the strut door openings for the body gear.

You must keep the ground release handle in the doors open position and locked when the doors are open.

Release the pressure from hydraulic system No. 1 and No. 4 (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Disconnect the operator rod from the inboard door of the wheel well for the wing gear.

Put a warning streamer on the end of the rod.

(10) Disconnect the operator rods from the body gear doors (Ref Disconnect the Body Gear Door Operator Rods) or install body gear door locks (Ref Install the Body Gear Door Locks) if necessary.
