NOTE: When you remove the fasteners for the removal of the
____ precooler, make sure you monitor the fastener buildup for the installation procedure.

(3) Remove the fasteners which hold the precooler by the lugs to the forward adjustable link assembly.

(4) Remove the fasteners which hold the upper aft side of the precooler to the nacelle strut structure.

Remove the precooler.

Make sure there is no unwanted material or damage to the fan air side of the precooler.
(a)
Remove the unwanted material if it is necessary.
(b)
Replace the precooler if it is damaged.
