Release the pressure in the pneumatic system (AMM 36-05-00/201).

Open the BLEED AIR circuit breaker on the P6 Main Power Distribution Panel and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag.

(3) Open the left and right fan cowl panels (AMM 71-11-04/201).

_______ REVERSERS. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THE INSTRUCTIONS WHEN YOU OPEN THE THRUST REVERSERS, INJURIES TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.
(4) Open the thrust reversers (AMM 78-31-00/201).
D. Remove the Precooler Control Valve

(1)
Remove the connector for the braided flex sense line from the right side of the precooler control valve.

Remove the connector for the rigid sense line from the left side of the precooler control valve.

(3)
Loosen the B-Nut at the lower end of the rigid sense line.
(a) Move the rigid sense line out of the work area.

(4) Remove the clamp from the PRSOV sense line which is on the left side of the precooler.
(a) Move the PRSOV sense line out of the work area.

(5) Remove the forward attach bolt for the thrust link.
NOTE: The attach bolt is on the left side of the engine.

(a) Lower the thrust link.
NOTE: The thrust link will lower approximately one inch.

Remove the forward and aft clamps on the PRSOV.
(a) Lower the PRSOV.
(7)
Remove the clamp on the forward end of the precooler control valve.
