 (5)  If it is applicable, tighten the duct support clamps.
NOTE:____ For the 0.016 inch titanium ducts on the TAI system support clamps the torque is 10-15 pound-inches or 10 pound-inches more than the nut threading torque. Use the Torque which is the largest.
 (a)  If you removed the support clamps to align the V-band clamps, do the step that follows: 1) Move the assembled tubing sufficiently to engage the support clamps in a way that they will not damage the tubing. 2) Do not loosen the V-band clamp to align the support clamps.

 PNEUMATIC DUCT - ADJUSTMENT/TEST
________________________________
 1.  General
_______
 A.  This procedure contains two tasks. The first task examines the APU supply duct for interference condition with the access cutout at the aft pressure bulkhead. The second task performs the adjustment to the APU supply duct to get more clearance at the access cutout to remove the interference condition.
 B.  It should be noted that this area of concern is very difficult to access. The adjustment procedure may require the removal of a lavatory or galley compartment in the aft passenger cabin area in order to get access to the duct interference area through the floor panels. Adjustments should only be made if an interference condition is believed to exist between the APU supply duct and the aft pressure bulkhead.
 C.  Do the adjustment procedure only if there are no other discrepencies found to have caused the interference condition.
 D.  If the completion of this procedure still does not provide sufficent clearance to resolve the interference condition, refer to Boeing In-Service Activity Report (ISAR) No. 92-23-3611-14, dated 14 Dec 1992 for additional steps that can be taken to resolve the interference condition.
