DUCT PRESSURE TRANSMITTER - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks. The first task removes the duct pressure transmitter. The second task installs the duct pressure transmitter.
B. There are two duct pressure transmitters. They convert and transmit manifold duct pressure data into electrical signals which are used by the duct pressure indicator (on P5, forward overhead panel) to show manifold duct pressures.
C. The transmitters are installed on the outboard side of the forward air conditioning equipment bay (Fig. 401).
D. The removal procedure and the installation procedure are the same for each transmitter.

B. Prepare to Remove the Duct Pressure Transmitter

Open the PRESSURE IND circuit breaker, on the P6-4 panel, and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag.

Open the doors for the air conditioning equipment bay to get access to the transmitter.
C. Remove the Transmitter

Disconnect the pressure sense line from the transmitter.
(2)
Disconnect the electrical connector.

(3)
Cut the lockwire and loosen the screw for the clamp in the shock mount.
(4)
Remove the transmitter from the shock mount.
