(10) Prepare to disconnect the PRSOV from the left side as follows (Fig. 403):
(a)
Make a mark on the valve and the adjacent structure to show the valve position for installation. 1) Make sure to create a similar mark on the replacement PRSOV
at the same orientation as that shown on the marked PRSOV.
(b)
Remove the two couplings (1) and discard the E-seals (2) that attach the PRSOV to the precooler and the 5th-stage bleed duct.
NOTE: It may be necessary to loosen couplings on the
____ 5th-stage duct forward of the valve to get clearance between the PRSOV and the precooler.
