(13) Install a spacer of required thickness between the inboard edge of the bracket assembly and the support bracket to fill the gap created in the previous step (View A-A, Fig. 502).
(a) Install the bolts (one of the bolt has to be longer) and nuts.

Tighten the couplings in sequence, move from one coupling to the next coupling in sequence.
(a)
Make sure that the coupling is properly seated, tap the coupling gently around the outer circumference of the coupling.
(b)
Tighten all the couplings at 20 inch-pounds initially, then increase the torque by not more than 10 inch-pounds intervals. 1) Torque the couplings to 50 inch-pounds.

(19) Position the duct and install the support clamps at STA 927 and STA 967.
(a) Torque the clamps to 50 inch-pounds.
