WHEN THE ENGINE THROTTLE IS RETARDED AND THE ENGINE BLEED SYSTEM SWITCHOVER OCCUR FROM
5TH-STAGE PRESSURE TO 9TH-STAGE PRESSURE, DUCT PRESSURE CAN DECAY TO AS LOW AS 20 PSIG
BEFORE THE HIGH STAGE VALVE OPENS AND REGULATES THE DUCT PRESSURE TO A NOMINAL 32 PSIG.

B1,B2,B3,D1,D2,D3,D4 MAKE SURE THESE CIRCUIT BREAKERS ARE CLOSED (P6-4): 
NO PRESSURE IN THE PNEUMATIC SYSTEM (AMM 36-00-00/ ELECTRICAL POWER IS ON (AMM 24-22-00/201) 201) MAKE SURE THE AIRPLANE IS IN THIS CONFIGURATION: APPLICABLE ENGINE BLEED SWITCH (P5 PANEL) IN THE OFF POSITION 
THE "BLEED TRIP OFF"  PRESSURE GAUGES (2 REQUIRED) PRESSURE REGULATOR NEEDLE VALVE 0-200 PSIG GAS SOURCE (NITROGEN BOTTLE) EQUIPMENT:
BLEED SOURCE. THE ENGINE WAS THE LIGHT WAS ON.  ____NOTE:  SYSTEM BACK TO THE NORMAL CONFIGURATION. RESET BUTTON ON THE P5 PANEL TO PUT THE BLEED AT THE END OF THE PROCEDURE, PUSH THE TRIP

22 DISCONNECT CONNECTOR D526 (ENGINE 1), D528 (ENGINE 2) FOR THE ENGINE BLEED AIR OVERHEAT SWITCH (490`F)(SEE SHEET 6).
 PUSH THE TRIP RESET BUTTON ON THE P5 PANEL. IS THE LIGHT OFF?

2 OPEN THE FAN COWL PANEL 44 REMOVE THE PRESSURE FROMAND THRUST REVERSER HALVES THE SYSTEM. (AMM 71-11-02/201). REPLACE THE BLEED AIR
DISCONNECT THE 5TH-STAGE REGULATOR (AMM 36-11-16/401). SUPPLY LINE AT THE INLET TOTHE TEE.
CONNECT A PRESSURE GAUGE (0-200 PSIG, Ps), A PRESSUREREGULATOR, AND A NITROGEN SOURCE AT THE INLET TO THE TEE (SEE SHEET 7).
INCREASE Ps TO 165 PSIG AND EXAMINE THE BLEED TRIP OFFLIGHT ON THE P5 PANEL.
____ THIS MAKES SURE THE
NOTE: OVERPRESSURE SWITCH DOES NOT PERMIT THE BLEED TRIP OFF LIGHT TO COME ON AT PRESSURES BELOW THE CORRECT RANGE.

WITH AN EXCESSIVE THE SYSTEM.
LEAKAGE ACROSS THE REPLACE THE HIGH-STAGE
