(3) S 864-023Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close the BLEED AIR circuit breaker on the P6 Panel.
(4) S 714-024Do the test for the sensor. (a) Use the engine to pressurize the pneumatic system (AMM 36-05-00/201). (b) Make sure the duct pressure becomes stable at 42 | 5 psi. (c) Remove the pressure from the pneumatic system if it is not necessary (AMM 36-05-00/201).

450°F THERMOSTAT - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks. The first task removes the 450°F Thermostat. The second task installs the 450°F Thermostat.
B. The 450°F Thermostat is found downstream of the precooler. It is on the top aft strut on the right side. It is aft of the sensor for the precooler control valve on each engine.

_______ YOU REMOVE A PNEUMATIC SYSTEM COMPONENT. IF YOU DO NOT REMOVE THE PRESSURE FROM THE PNEUMATIC DUCTS, HOT HIGH PRESSURE AIR CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Remove the pressure from the pneumatic system (AMM 36-05-00/201).
