ISOLATION VALVE - OPEN

L ENGINE START - OFF

(3) Open the fan cowl panels (AMM 71-11-04/201).

Open the thrust reversers (AMM 78-31-00/201).

Open the air conditioning access panels.

Open the removable slat access panels, 6307L and 6407R.

Manually lock the high stage valve on each engine in the CLOSED position.

Make sure these position indicators, for the valves that follow, show the CLOSED position:

Put the 1 BLEED switch to the ON position.

Put the 2 BLEED switch to the ON position.

Connect the air supply source at the ground air connection.

WARNING:_______USE A RATCHET TYPE WRENCH TO OPEN THE PRSOV. THE PRSOV CAN OPEN QUICKLY AND CAN PULL THE WRENCH FROM YOUR HANDS IF THERE IS PRESSURE IN THE PNEUMATIC SYSTEM WHEN YOU OPEN THE PRSOV. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(4) Manually wrench the PRSOV on each engine to the OPEN position with a ratchet type wrench.
NOTE: The PRSOV will remain open when there is pneumatic

pressure upstream of the PRSOV.

WARNING:_______BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU PRESSURIZE THE PNEUMATIC DUCTS. IF THE DUCTS COME APART WHEN THEY ARE PRESSURIZED, THEY CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Pressurize the system and maintain pressure at 35 psig.
(6)
Examine all of the connections of the pneumatic ducts for leakage.

NOTE: Access panels in the air conditioning bays, engine
____ compartments, and wing leading edge slats are to be opened to expose the pneumatics ducts to be examined.
(a) Diffused leakage is permitted.
