Pressurize pneumatic system with ground air source or auxiliary power unit (APU) (AMM 36-05-00/201).
Reconnect electrical connector to bleed air regulator.
Put BLEED switch to OFF.
Release the pressure in the pneumatic system (AMM 36-05-00/201).

PROCEDURE 2
Disconnect high-stage regulator sense line at the 9th-stage duct.
Connect ground air source to sense line.
Pressurize sense line to between 30-50 psig; check for sense line leakage between valve. ground air source and high-stage regulator, and between regulator and high-stage
Depressurize sense line.
Disconnect ground air source from sense line.
Reconnect sense line to 9th-stage duct.

ENGINE BLEED AIR DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM - ADJUSTMENT/TEST

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains eight tasks. These tasks are as follows:
(1)
The Bleed Air Regulator and Bleed Air Overheat Switch Functional Test
(2)
The Bleed Air Isolation Valve Operational Test
(3)
The Wing-to-Body Overheat Operational Test
(4)
The Bleed Air Control System Operational Test (Engine)
(5)
The Bleed Air Control System Operational Test (APU)
(6)
The Bleed Air Control System - System Test
(7)
The Reverse Flow Check Protection - Operational Test
(8)
The Pneumatic Ducts Leakage Test
B. The functional test examines the relation between the bleed air regulator and the overheat switch for the engine bleed air.
C. The operational tests examine the items that follow:
(1)
The isolation valve
(2)
The overheat indication for the wing-to-body
(3)
The bleed air control system with the engine
(4)
The bleed air control system with the APU
D. The leakage test examines the permitted leakage of the pneumatic ducts upstream and downstream of the PRSOV.
E. The system test examines the control logic of the bleed air control system.

2. Bleed Air Regulator and Bleed Air Overheat Switch Functional Test_________________________________________________________________
A. General
(1) This functional test examines the relation between the bleed air regulator and the bleed air overheat switch. It also examines the electrical relation between the regulator and the engine fire detection system.
B. Equipment
(1) Controlled Heat Source - Temp. Cal Probe Heater
(Attachment to Jet Cal Engine Analyzer).
