Examine the valve for leakage at the V-band clamps. 1) Diffused leakage is permitted. 2) You must repair jet blast leakage.

Remove the pressure from the pneumatic system (Ref 36-05-00/201).

1. General

A. This procedure contains two tasks. The first task removes the APU pressure relief valve. The second task installs the APU pressure relief valve.

C. Prepare to Remove the Valve

Make sure the APU is not in operation.

Make sure the engines are not in operation.

Remove the pressure from the pneumatic system (Ref 36-05-00/201).

Attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags to the BLEED switches.

Open the stabilizer trim access door, 3701, to get access to the valve.
D. Remove the Valve (Fig. 401)

Remove the lockwire.
(2)
Loosen the valve.

(3)
Remove the valve from the mounting boss on the manifold duct for the APU.

NOTE: You will remove the packing ring with the valve.
