(a)
No, replace the precooler control valve (AMM 36-12-35/401).
(b)
Yes, continue.

PRECOOLER CONTROL VALVE SENSOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks. The first task removes the sensor for the precooler control valve. The second task installs the sensor for the precooler control valve.
B. The sensor for the precooler control valve is found in the pneumatic duct downstream of the precooler. It is on the top aft right side of the strut. It is forward of the 450°F Thermostat on each engine.

C. Prepare to Remove the Sensor

WARNING: YOU MUST RELEASE THE PRESSURE IN THE PNEUMATIC DUCT BEFORE YOU
_______ REMOVE A PNEUMATIC SYSTEM COMPONENT. THE HOT HIGH PRESSURE AIR IN THE PNEUMATIC DUCTS CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1)
Remove the pressure from the pneumatic system (AMM 36-05-00/201).

Open the BLEED AIR circuit breaker on the P6 Panel and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag.

On the P5 Panel, attach a DO-NOT-OPERATE tag to the switches that follow:
