2) Tighten the electrical connector D1210 to 30-35
pound-inches (3.4-4.0 Newton meters).

(d) On engines without the captive fastener clamps, Attach the clamp (6), bolt (2), washer (3) and nut (4) that attach the W1508 wire bundle to the front of the precooler.
NOTE: The clamp was attached to the wire bundle.

(e) On engines with the captive fastener clamps, Attach the clamp (12) that attaches the W1508 wire bundle to the front of the precooler.
NOTE: The clamp was attached to the wire bundle.

F. Pressure Regulator and Shutoff Valve (PRSOV) Post Installation Test

(1)
Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close the circuit breaker for the bleed air control on the P6 panel.

Do the steps that follow to do a check for leakage of the valve.
(a)
Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).
(b)
Use the APU or the ground air source to pressurize the pneumatic system (AMM 36-05-00/201).
(c)
If it is necessary, put the switch for the isolation valve to the OPEN position.
(d)
Put the applicable PACK switch(es) to the OFF position.
(e)
Put the applicable BLEED switch to the ON position.
WARNING: PRESSURIZE THE BLEED AIR SYSTEM BEFORE YOU OPEN THE PRSOV.
_______ WHEN YOU OPEN THE PRSOV, USE A RACHET TYPE WRENCH. THE PRSOV CAN OPEN QUICKLY AND THIS CAN CAUSE THE HANDLE OF THE WRENCH TO TURN. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(f) Use a wrench to put the PRSOV in the OPEN position.
1) Keep the PRSOV in the open position, if it does not stay in the open position.

2) Do the steps that follow: a) Make sure there is no air leakage at the valve to duct couplings.
NOTE: Diffused leakage is permitted, jet blast
____ leakage must be repaired.
b) If you loosened couplings for the valve installation,
make sure there is no air leakage at those couplings. 3) Put the applicable engine bleed switch to the OFF position. 4) Make sure the position indicator for the PRSOV moves to the
CLOSED position.
5) Make sure the manual lock assembly on the PRSOV is not locked. a) The bolt must be tight (see the placard adjacent to the
lock).
G. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

(1) Remove the pneumatic pressure from the system, if it is not
necessary (AMM 36-05-00/201).

WARNING: OBEY THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE PROCEDURE TO CLOSE THE THRUST
_______ REVERSERS. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THE INSTRUCTIONS WHEN YOU CLOSE THE THRUST REVERSERS, INJURIES TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.

Close the thrust reverser (AMM 78-31-00/201).

Close the fan cowl panel (AMM 71-11-04/201).
