 (9) Is Pc between 20 and 28 psig?
 (a) No, was control pressure above or below the given range?
 1)  Below, do the steps that follow to examine these areas for leakage: a) Sense line to the BAR. b) Sense line from the BAR to the PRSOV. c) Sense line from PRSOV to 450°F sensor. d) 450°F sensor. e) Repair all leakage found.
 NOTE: You may hear nitrogen leakage from the BAR.
____ This is from honest orifices on the BAR and is not abnormal.
 f)  If no leakage was found, install a cap at the port on the PRSOV that goes to the 450°F sensor (View C, Fig. 501) and do a check of the control pressure again.
 g)  Is Pc between 20 and 28 psig?
 1.  
Yes, replace the 450°F sensor (AMM 36-12-55/401).

 2.  
No, remove the cap installed at the port on the


_ PRSOV. Reconnect the sense line to the 450°F sensor on to the port on the PRSOV. Then, do as follows:
 -Disconnect the control pressure sense line at the tee on the PRSOV and install a cap on the sense line to isolate the BAR from the system (View D, Fig. 501).
 -Do a check of the control pressure again.  If Pc is between 20 and 28 psig, replace the PRSOV (AMM 36-11-15/401). If Pc is not between 20 and 28 psig, replace the BAR (AMM 36-11-16/401).
 2)  Above, replace the bleed air regulator (AMM 36-11-16/401).
 (b) Yes, continue.

 Decrease Ps to 0 psig.

 Slowly increase Ps until the PRSOV goes to the fully open position.

 Was Ps less than 5 psig when the PRSOV was at the fully open position?

 (a)
No, replace the PRSOV (AMM 36-11-15/401).

 (b)
Yes, continue.

 (13) If the airplane's own electrical power is available, do the steps that follow:
 (a)  
AIRPLANES WITH BLEED AIR REGULATORS WITH PART NUMBERS 10-62008-23 OR 10-62008-37; Slowly increase the supply pressure (Ps) to 170-190 psig.

 (b)  
AIRPLANES WITH BLEED AIR REGULATORS WITH PART NUMBERS 10-62008-40; Slowly increase the supply pressure (Ps) to 210-230 psig.

 (c)  
Did the control pressure (Pc) go to less than 6 psig? 1) No, replace the bleed air regulator (AMM 36-11-16/401). 2) Yes, continue.

 (d)  
Decrease Ps to 0 psig.

 Remove the nitrogen source, supply and control pressure gages and test hoses.

 Push the trip reset switch on the P5 panel to put the bleed system to its usual condition.
