 D.  Leakage from ducts may be isolated with use of the pneumatic system duct leakage test in AMM 36-11-05/501.
 E.  All trouble shooting procedures are based on the following assumptions:
 (1)  
Double failures do not exist.

 (2)  
The faulty system was fully operational prior to the fault
 indication with all equipment properly installed.


 (3)  
All relevant circuit breakers were checked.

 (4)  
All applicable airplane/engine operating procedures were
 accomplished.


 (5)  
The airplane is on the ground, it has been shut down in accordance with normal operating procedures and all power is off.

 (6)  
Fault was accurately described.

 (7)  
Generally, electrical wiring is satisfactory and power is available.


 F.  If the corrective action in the procedure does not correct the problem, check wiring using the wiring diagram. Prior to trouble shooting, check master Dim and Test circuits to ensure panel lights are operable.

Bleed air pressure was between 0 and 10 psi during engine operation at idle.

visual indicator. IF -With engine off check high-stage valve 

between 9th-stage ducting and high-stage regulator (PROCEDURE 2). IF -stage regulator and high-stage valve; line tubing for leakage between high-HIGH-STAGE VALVE CLOSED - Check sense 

regulator (AMM 36-11-86/401). NO LEAKAGE - Replace high-stage 

During engine operation with slow acceleration or deacceleration, bleed air pressure does not stabilize at 29 |3 psig.
HIGH-STAGE VALVE OPEN - Replace high-stage valve (AMM 36-11-85/401).
LEAKAGE - Replace or repair tubing.

PROCEDURE 1
Put BLEED switch to ON; disconnect electrical connector from bleed air regulator (AMM 36-11-16/401). 

Manually wrench open PRSOV and hold open. Check applicable sense lines (between PRSOV and bleed air regulator and ducting and 450`F thermostat and precooler con-trol valve and sensor) while PRSOV is kept open.
