(1) Disconnect the sense line and the union from the sensor.
(a) Discard the O-ring.

(2) Remove the screws (4 locations) which hold the sensor to the duct.

CAUTION:_______THE THERMOSTAT CAN BE DAMAGED IF DROPPED OR MISHANDLED. IF THE THERMOSTAT IS DROPPED, RETURN IT TO THE SHOP OR SUPPLIER FOR CALIBRATION.

Remove the sensor from the duct.

Put a cap on the sense line to keep out unwanted material.

(1) Make sure the pressure is removed from the pneumatic ducts.

Remove the cap from the sense line.

Remove the cover from the opening for the pneumatic duct.

Apply a thin layer of the antiseize compound to the external threads of the sense line for the union/sensor coupling.

Install an O-ring on the union.
(a)
Connect the sense line union to the sensor.
(b)
Tighten the sense line.

(6) Make sure the O-ring is installed on the sensor.

(a) Do not tighten the screws at this time.
