Is the high-stage valve in the fully closed position?
(a) No, use a wrench to open and close the high-stage valve. Does the high-stage valve move to the open and closed positions smoothly? 1) No, replace the high-stage valve (AMM 36-11-85/401).

(3) S 035-041Disconnect the supply pressure sense line at the high-stage regulator.
(4) S 485-010Connect a supply pressure gage (Ps) and a nitrogen source to the supply port on the high-stage regulator (View A, Fig. 501).
(5) S 035-035Disconnect the control pressure sense line at the high-stage regulator.
(6) S 485-036Install a control pressure gage (Pc) to the control pressure line (View B, Fig. 501).
(7) S 755-037Slowly increase Ps to 35-40 psig.
(8) S 755-039Is Pc between 15 and 18 psig (Regulator P/N 10-62008-31) or between 13 and 16 psig (Regulator P/N 10-62008-4,-12,-15)? (a) No, do the steps that follow: 1) Slowly increase Ps to 70 psig. 2) Examine these areas for nitrogen leakage: a) Sense line to the high-stage regulator b) Sense line from the high-stage regulator to the high-stage valve. 3) Repair all leakage found. a) If there is no leakage, replace the high-stage regulator (AMM 36-11-86/401). 4) Decrease Ps to 0 psig. (b) Yes, continue.
