(a) Discard the used O-rings.

Install new O-rings on the union fittings.

Install the union fittings and tee on the PRSOV.
NOTE: The position angle of the tee should align with the PRSOV.

On engines without a downstream pressure sense line to the bleed air regulator, install a cap (P/N BACC14AD06J) at the union fitting.

Make sure to make a mark on this PRSOV (at the same position as the previously removed PRSOV) to help make the installation easier.
E. Install the Valve

(1) Position the valve between the bleed air duct and the precooler inlet and then put the PRSOV below its installed position (it will lay on the high pressure compressor (HPC) case).
NOTE: The PRSOV can only be installed from the right side of
____ engine. With the PRSOV not installed at this time will also make it it easier for some of the engine connections to interface with the PRSOV.

(2) Do these steps to connect the PRSOV to the engine connections:
(a)
On engines with downstream sense line to the bleed air regulator, do these steps to connect the downstream sense line to the bleed air regulator to the right side of the PRSOV (Fig. 402): 1) Remove the protective caps and apply antiseize compound to
the fitting on the downstream sense line and the union on the PRSOV. 2) Connect the downstream sense line to bleed air regulator to the PRSOV.
(b)
Do these steps to connect the control line to the bleed air regulator to the tee fitting on the right side of the PRSOV: 1) Remove the protective caps and apply antiseize compound to
the fittings on the sense line and the union on the PRSOV. 2) Connect the control line to the bleed air regulator to the tee fitting on the PRSOV.

(c) On engines with dual electrical connectors, D1208 and D1210 attached to the PRSOV, Attach the wire bundle, W1508 at two locations to the lower PRSOV bracket (Fig. 401). 1) On engines without the captive fastener clamps,
Use the clamps (1), bolts (2), and washers (3).
NOTE: The clamps and hardware were loosely attached to
____ the wire bundle during the PRSOV removal.
2) On engines with the captive fastener clamps, Use the clamps (12).

(3) Connect the PRSOV downstream sense line to the PRSOV as follows on the left side of the engine (Fig. 403):
NOTE:____Connect this sense line before you install the PRSOV. It is easier to get access to this PRSOV port if the PRSOV is not yet installed.
(a)
Apply antiseize compound to the threads on the union.
(b)
Connect the PRSOV downstream sense line to the union on the left side of the PRSOV.

(4) Attach the PRSOV to the engine between the precooler and the 5th-stage duct as follows (Fig. 403):
(a)
Lift the PRSOV and position it is between the 5th-stage duct and the precooler.
(b)
Install the E-seals (2) in the 5th-stage duct and the inlet flanges of the precooler.
NOTE:____The E-seals have an oval shape. This shape permits E-seals to snap-fit in the inlet flanges.
