Loosen the nut (5) and remove the clamp (3).

Hold the crossbleed valve (2). Loosen the nut (6) and remove the clamp (7).

Remove the crossbleed valve (2).

Put blanking caps on the pneumatic duct flanges (4),(8).

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the warning notices are in position:
-
in the cockpit on the Engine Control Panel 115VU to tell persons not to start the engine(s),
-
in the cockpit on the AIR COND Overhead Control Panel 30VU to tell persons not to push in the APU BLEED pushbutton switch,
- on the HP ground connector to tell persons not to pressurize the pneumatic system.
(2) Make sure that the access platform is in position below the access panel 192FB.
(3) Make sure that the access panel 192FB is open.

A. Installation of the Crossbleed Valve
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Remove the blanking caps from the pneumatic duct flanges (4),(8).
(4)
Check the pneumatic duct flanges (4),(8) for correct condition.
(5)
Install the crossbleed valve (2) between the pneumatic duct flanges
(4) and (8) with the actuator motors to the A/C centerline.
(6)
Install the clamp (7). Do not tighten it at this step.
(7)
Install the clamp (3). Do not tighten it at this step.
(8)
Tighten the nuts (5),(6) to between 0.56 and 0.78 m.daN (49.55 and
69.02 lbf.in) and TORQUE
(9)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connector (1) and from the receptacle.
(10) Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(11) Connect the electrical connector (1) to the crossbleed valve (2). Subtask 36-12-52-865-052
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1HV, 2HV, 2HA1, 2HA2, 3HA1, 3HA2
